Xueting (Sherry) Wang

I am an Economist at Laurits R. Christensen Associates, Inc. I received my PhD degree from Columbia University in 2021.

My research interests include energy and environmental economics and industrial organization. I apply tools from IO to study market deregulation and dynamics with a specific interest in the electricity market. My ongoing research focuses on deregulation in retail electricity market and the market impact of incorporating intermittent renewable generation into the grid.

I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor degree in Chemistry and Political Science, and a master’s degree in Public Policy.
